Wbcom Essential is part of Reign. It adds 30+ blocks and 40+ Elementor widgets for heroes, pricing tables, sliders, member and group grids, product displays and more. How to install it and where to find everything.

Wbcom Essential is part of Reign. Reign handles your site’s design, header, footer and settings; Wbcom Essential gives you the building pieces for the pages themselves: heroes, pricing tables, sliders, FAQs, member and group grids, product displays and more. Everything it offers is part of what you get with Reign, at no extra cost.

It works in both editors: you get blocks for the WordPress block editor and widgets for Elementor.

Install it

Go to Reign Settings > Extend. Wbcom Essential is the first card. Select Install free; no licence is needed. When the card says Connected, the blocks and widgets are ready.

You can also download it from the Wbcom Essential page on the Wbcom store, then go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the zip file, and select Install Now and Activate. Use this if your host blocks installs from the dashboard, or if you want to keep a copy of the zip.

Blocks for the block editor

In the block editor, open the block inserter (the + button). Wbcom Essential’s blocks are grouped in categories that start with Essential:

Every block has desktop, tablet and phone settings, and can use your theme’s colours, so it matches the rest of your Reign site.

Combine them with Reign’s block patterns: patterns give you whole ready-made sections, and Wbcom Essential blocks give you the individual pieces to build or extend them.

Widgets for Elementor

If you build pages with Elementor, the widgets are in the Elementor panel under the Wbcom Essential category. They include:

  • Site building: Site Logo, Branding, Smart Menu, Header Notification Area, Dropdown Button, Heading, Shape.
  • Content: Slider, Accordion, Tabs, Timeline, Countdown, Text Rotator, Progress Bar, Flip Box, Pricing Table, Testimonial, Testimonial Carousel, Team Carousel, Portfolio Grid, Login Form.
  • Posts: Post Slider, Post Carousel, Posts Carousel, Post Timeline, Posts Revolution, Posts Ticker.
  • WooCommerce: Universal Product, Product Tab, Customer Review, WooCommerce Testimonial, Add Banner.
  • BuddyPress: member grids and carousels, group grids and carousels, activity feeds and more. These widgets appear in Elementor only while BuddyPress is active.
