Migrate from Skool to Reign.
Skool migrations happen when communities outgrow the opinionated course-first model, need flexible tier pricing, or want to own the URL.
Reign is the design layer at $99/year or $249 lifetime, and it is the only thing you have to buy. The plugins that rebuild your community here are ours: BuddyNext for members and groups, Learnomy for courses, Jetonomy for forums and Q&A, MediaVerse for member media. 11 of them install free, each with its own Pro plan for when one part of the community starts earning. No monthly platform fee replaces the one you are leaving.
Set expectations before you start.

Skool admin > Settings > Export. Email + name + join date.
Pick the course plugin
Learnomy is ours, installs free, and Reign styles it with no add-on. Already committed to a third-party LMS? The LearnMate LearnDash and Reign TutorLMS kits are the packaged routes.
Recreate course structure
For each Skool course, recreate sections, lessons and quizzes in Learnomy, or in LearnDash on that stack.

Before you start.
Find out exactly what Skool lets you export before you commit to a date, because the answer shapes the whole plan. Members usually come out; course content often does not, which means rebuilding the classroom by hand. Do that rebuild before you tell anyone, so the new site has the thing people paid for waiting for them rather than a promise that it is coming.
What to check once it is live.
Walk through the classroom as a member rather than an admin and confirm lessons unlock in the right order. Check that gamification is awarding points for the behaviour you want rather than firing on everything. Then confirm your payment flow end to end with a real card, because a community that has moved and cannot take money is worse than one that never moved.
Where this one usually goes wrong.
Underestimating how much of Skool's value was the simplicity. Members used to one screen with a feed, a classroom and a leaderboard can find a full site confusing, and confusion reads as worse rather than different. Keep the first version deliberately plain: community, classroom, and nothing else until people have settled.
Migration questions.
Will gamification streaks transfer?
No. Skool does not export gamification state. Restart the streaks in WB Gamification, which installs free. Members usually appreciate a fresh start.
Can I keep flat $99/mo pricing?
Yes - just set MemberPress to a single tier. But most migrations introduce a free tier + premium $99 tier, which lifts conversion 20-40%.
Can I keep my gamification points?
Not as a transfer. WB Gamification awards from real activity on the new site, so points start fresh. Most communities find this is fine if you say so up front; it is discovering it silently that annoys people who spent a year earning a level.
Is the classroom the same?
Similar in function, different in feel. Learnomy handles lessons, progress and certificates, and runs on the same login as the community. Skool's classroom is deliberately minimal, so expect more capability and slightly more configuration.
