Multi-vendor marketplace · WP Sell Services
Build a WordPress services marketplace with WP Sell Services
A marketplace where people sell time and skill rather than shipping boxes: service listings, seller profiles, and order requests. WP Sell Services runs it free and Reign styles it with no add-on in between. Physical goods are a different problem, and Dokan, WC Vendors, and WCFM own that case.
The Reign theme is the only thing you have to buy. See every plugin that installs free, or have us install the whole stack for $699.
Stack recipe
What you need to assemble.
Buy the theme. Install our plugins free. The third-party engine and its Reign add-on are here for people already running that stack, not a second bill everyone pays.
Build it in 5 steps
From zero to live community.
Install Reign, the one purchase
Reign is $99 a year or $249 once for a single site. On a services marketplace that is genuinely the whole bill until commissions start moving, because nothing else in this recipe has a license.
Add the community engine, free
BuddyNext free gives buyers and sellers profiles, an activity feed, messages, and notifications. This is not decoration on a marketplace: a seller with a visible history converts, and a name on a listing does not. Reign styles all of it, and BuddyNext Pro adds advanced moderation and deeper analytics from $149 a year.
Open the marketplace with WP Sell Services, free
The free version covers service listings, seller profiles, and order requests, which is everything you need to publish the first listings and take the first inquiries. Reign styles it directly, so there is no add-on sitting between the plugin and the theme.
Selling physical products? Use a WooCommerce vendor engine
Be honest about what is being sold. WP Sell Services is built for offers, orders, and payouts on service work. Physical goods need shipping, tax, and inventory, which is WooCommerce territory: run Dokan, WC Vendors, or WCFM and style it with the matching Reign add-on at $39 a year for one site. Those are the right engines for that job and Reign styles every one of them.
Set commission before seller number one
Offers, milestones, commissions, and seller payouts live in WP Sell Services Pro at $69 a year, so plan for that upgrade at the point money starts splitting. Decide the rate before you sign anyone: 15-20% is the usual range for a new marketplace. Approve the first sellers by hand for a week so you learn who actually delivers, then open the form.
Add these free
More pieces you can add at no cost.
Same team builds the theme and the plugins, so these inherit the Reign design instead of needing custom CSS. The ones marked free install at no cost, and upgrades are sold per plugin, so nothing here needs a bundle.

FAQ
Common questions.
What can the free version actually do?
Service listings, seller profiles, and order requests. That is enough to open a marketplace and take the first inquiries. Offers, milestones, commissions, and seller payouts are Pro, from $69 a year, so the free version runs the marketplace but does not split the money for you.
Is this a Dokan replacement?
Not for physical products, and we will not pretend otherwise. Dokan, WC Vendors, and WCFM sit on WooCommerce and bring shipping, tax, and inventory with them, which is exactly what a goods marketplace needs. WP Sell Services is for marketplaces where the thing being sold is work: freelance, coaching, agency, local services. Reign styles both paths, with a $39-a-year add-on for each third-party engine.
What does it cost?
Reign at $99 a year or $249 lifetime for one site, and nothing else to open. WP Sell Services Pro at $69 a year when commissions and payouts start to matter. On the Dokan path instead, add the Reign Dokan Addon at $39 a year for one site plus your own Dokan license, or the StoreMate Dokan kit from $129 a year for theme and add-on together.
Why does a community layer belong in a marketplace?
Because trust is the conversion problem, not the catalog. BuddyNext gives buyers and sellers profiles, a feed, and messages for free, so a seller accumulates a visible record. Jetonomy free adds a support space where the same pre-sales question gets answered once instead of in twenty private threads.
Can I run services and physical products together?
You can install both, but you will be running two seller dashboards and two payout flows, and sellers find that confusing. Pick the side that carries most of your volume, launch it properly, and revisit the other one when it is genuinely a business rather than a maybe.
Ship it
Reign is the only thing you have to buy.
WP Sell Services and the rest of our plugins install free, and the theme styles them out of the box. Building on Dokan instead? The StoreMate Dokan kit ships the theme with the matching Reign add-on.
