The pieces / Events
Reign + Eventonomy
Events that sit inside the community, not beside it.
Eventonomy keeps the dates, the listings, and who is coming. Reign makes the calendar and the event page read like the rest of your site rather than like a plugin someone bolted on last week.
Reign theme
Eventonomy installs free and inherits the theme's design. Pro is a separate decision you make later.

What Eventonomy does, free and paid
The line between the two is the same for every one of our plugins: the free version runs a real site, and Pro is for the point where that site starts earning.

- Event listings, calendars, and free RSVPs.

- Paid tickets, recurring events, check-in, and attendee management.

How the two fit together
Reign styles Eventonomy out of the box. There is no bridge plugin, no compatibility add-on, and no CSS you have to write to stop the plugin pages looking like a different website. The same team builds the theme and the plugin, which is the whole reason it works this way.
In practice that means event listings, calendars, and the single event page inherit the Reign design system: the same type scale, the same spacing, the same colors you set once in the customizer.
This pairing usually shows up on meetup calendars, workshop schedules, and event pages inside a member community. Add the other pieces that site needs and skip the rest, because each plugin is separate and almost all of them install free.
The other way to do this
The Events Calendar and Amelia cover the same ground, and plenty of good communities run on them. We are not going to hide that.
Reign does not sell a styling add-on for The Events Calendar and Amelia. What it sells is a theme whose design system already covers our own events plugin, so the pages you are building are styled the day you install Eventonomy rather than the day you finish styling them yourself.
The honest summary: either route can work. This one keeps the theme and the feature under one roof, which is mostly a support question. When something looks wrong, there is one team to ask. How buying works.

Reign styles that stack too. Keep your engine and add our Pro community plugins in one license.
Straight answers
- Do I need a Reign add-on to use Eventonomy?
- No. Reign add-ons exist because third-party engines need styling the theme does not ship with. Eventonomy is ours, so the theme already knows its templates. Buy Reign, install the plugin, and the pages come out looking like the rest of the site.
- Is Eventonomy free?
- Yes. The free version gives you event listings, calendars, and free RSVPs. It is a working plugin, not a trial. Pro adds paid tickets, recurring events, check-in, and attendee management from $69 a year, and it is optional.
- What do I actually have to buy?
- The Reign theme, $99 a year or $249 once for a single site. That is the only required purchase in this pairing. Eventonomy installs free on top of it, and its Pro plan is a separate decision you can make later or never.
- Can I use The Events Calendar instead?
- Yes. The Events Calendar and Amelia are a common way to do this, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What you get by starting with Eventonomy is one team behind the theme and the plugin, so the design and the feature are never two vendors pointing at each other.
- I already run BuddyPress or BuddyBoss. Does this still work?
- Reign styles that stack too, and always has. Keep the engine you know. The BuddyPress Community Bundle collects our Pro community plugins for it into one licence, from $249 a year or $699 lifetime.
