How the two fit together

Reign styles BuddyNext out of the box. There is no bridge plugin, no compatibility add-on, and no CSS you have to write to stop the plugin pages looking like a different website. The same team builds the theme and the plugin, which is the whole reason it works this way.

In practice that means profiles, the activity feed, group pages, member directories, and messages inherit the Reign design system: the same type scale, the same spacing, the same colors you set once in the customizer.
