Reign + Gravity Forms. Forms integration.

Gravity Forms is the form builder most popular for complex WordPress forms - conditionals, calculations, payments.

Reign + Gravity Forms for vendor signup flows, custom course application forms, complex member registration with conditional fields.

How it works with Reign.

Reign ships no plugin-specific styles for Gravity Forms, and does not need to: its forms inherit your theme's input, button and typography styles, which is how a form plugin should behave. There is no override layer to maintain and nothing to break when either side updates. Gravity Forms output sits inside Reign's containers and picks up the theme's field and button styling, so a form on a Reign page looks like part of the page. Complex multi-page or conditional forms are worth previewing on mobile, since column layouts are where form plugins and themes most often disagree.

When to use it.

Use Gravity Forms when forms are doing real work: conditional logic, multi-page flows, payments, or feeding data into other systems through its add-ons. It is the most capable option here and priced accordingly. For a contact form and a newsletter signup it is more than you need.

4 steps to ship.

1

Install Gravity Forms ($59-$259/yr).

2

Build forms via the visual editor.

3

Map form fields to BuddyPress xProfile via the BuddyPress Add-On.

4

Style automatically via Reign - no extra CSS.

What to check once it is live.

Submit the form yourself and confirm the notification email arrives, not just that the entry is saved, because the entry saving is the part that rarely breaks. Test conditional logic with a second submission down a different branch, and check any multi-column layout on a phone.

Gravity Forms integration questions.

Gravity Forms vs WPForms?

Gravity Forms wins on complex conditional logic + payment integration. WPForms is simpler + cheaper for basic contact forms. Most Reign marketplaces use Gravity Forms.

Will my forms match the site?

Largely automatically. Gravity Forms inherits the theme's input, button and typography styles rather than shipping its own look, so forms sit inside a Reign page without special handling. Preview multi-column layouts on mobile, which is where most form and theme disagreements show up.

Gravity Forms or WPForms?

Gravity Forms for complex logic, multi-page flows and deep add-on integrations. WPForms for a friendlier builder and simpler needs. Both inherit the theme's styling, so this is a question about capability and budget rather than about how they will look.

Is Gravity Forms worth the licence?

If your forms have real logic behind them, yes. Conditional branching, multi-page flows, payments and add-on integrations are what you are paying for, and they work well. For a contact form and a newsletter signup it is considerably more than you need, and a free plugin covers it.

Pick a bundled kit.

The Reign theme is $99/year or $249 lifetime and it is the only required purchase. Kits bundle it with the add-ons that style a third-party stack.
