Reign + Bricks Builder. Page builders integration.

Bricks is the performance-focused page builder. Lighter + faster than Elementor, theme builder included.

Reign + Bricks for sites that need landing-page customization without the Elementor weight penalty.

How it works with Reign.

Reign ships no plugin-specific styles for Bricks, and does not need to: Bricks is a full theme builder rather than a plugin that renders inside a theme, so the two are alternative approaches to the same layer. There is no override layer to maintain and nothing to break when either side updates. If you run Bricks as your theme you are not running Reign, and that is the honest framing. What people usually mean is using Bricks alongside Reign for specific landing pages, which works the same way as any builder: use the full-width template and keep the community templates with the theme.

When to use it.

Use Bricks if you want a lighter, more developer-oriented builder than Elementor and you are comfortable with its approach. Be clear about the role first, though: as a theme builder it replaces Reign rather than complementing it, so the sensible pairing is Reign for the community site and Bricks for specific pages, not both trying to own the layout.

3 steps to ship.

1

Install Bricks ($79-$259 lifetime).

2

Bricks works as a child theme or standalone - run as a marketing-page builder over Reign.

3

Use Reign color tokens via Bricks global styles.

What to check once it is live.

Decide and document which layer owns the layout before you go further, because that confusion compounds. Then check your built pages on a phone, confirm the header and footer are not duplicated, and verify community pages still render through the theme rather than through the builder.

Bricks Builder integration questions.

Bricks vs Elementor?

Bricks loads faster + has cleaner DOM output. Elementor has the bigger ecosystem + more templates. Performance-sensitive sites: Bricks. Template-rich sites: Elementor.

Can Bricks and Reign run together?

For individual pages, yes, the same way any builder does. As a full theme builder Bricks occupies the same layer as Reign, so it is not a case of both owning the site. Decide which one is the theme and let the other handle specific pages.

Is Bricks lighter than Elementor?

Generally, yes, and that is most of its appeal along with a more developer-friendly approach. Whether the difference matters depends on your hosting and how many pages you build with it. For community sites the heavy pages are usually the dynamic ones, which neither builder renders.

Can I migrate from Elementor to Bricks?

Not automatically. The two store layout data in entirely different formats, so pages get rebuilt by hand. For a handful of landing pages that is an afternoon; for a large site it is a project. Decide before you build a lot of pages, not after.

Pick a bundled kit.

The Reign theme is $99/year or $249 lifetime and it is the only required purchase. Kits bundle it with the add-ons that style a third-party stack.
