Reign ships no plugin-specific styles for Amelia, and does not need to: it renders its booking interface through its own JavaScript components, which carry their own styling by design. There is no override layer to maintain and nothing to break when either side updates. Amelia exposes its own colour and layout settings, so matching it to Reign is done in the plugin rather than in the theme. Set the accent there to your site's colour and the booking forms sit comfortably inside a Reign page.
When to use it.
Use Amelia when you are selling appointments: consultations, classes, coaching slots, anything with staff availability and a calendar behind it. That is a different job from listing community events, which is what Eventonomy does free. Sites running both are common, with Amelia taking bookings and Eventonomy handling the public calendar.

What to check once it is live.
Book a real appointment end to end, including the confirmation email and any calendar sync. Check the booking form on a phone, since that is where most bookings happen. Confirm the staff availability and buffer times behave, and verify what a customer sees when a slot is already taken.

Amelia vs BookingPress?
Amelia has a polished UI + better employee management. BookingPress is cheaper + has a free version. Coaching platforms past 5 coaches usually pick Amelia.
Will Amelia match my site colours?
Through its own settings rather than the theme. Amelia renders its booking flow in its own components with built-in styling controls, so set the accent colour and layout there. It is a five-minute job and it is the intended way to do it.
Amelia or Eventonomy?
Different jobs. Amelia books appointments against staff availability. Eventonomy lists community events and takes RSVPs, free to install, with attendees tied to member records. Many community sites end up with both, one for bookings and one for the calendar.
Can members book without an account?
Amelia supports guest booking, which is usually what you want for consultations and classes, since forcing registration before a booking loses people. If bookings are a member benefit, gate the booking page behind your membership plugin instead and let Amelia handle the calendar.
