Reign ships a dedicated BuddyBoss Platform stylesheet, so profiles, groups and the activity feed are styled to the theme. This matters more than usual here, because BuddyBoss Platform is normally paired with the BuddyBoss theme, and running it under a different theme without proper support tends to look unfinished. The caveat is that BuddyBoss ships frequent updates to its own markup, so keep the theme current and check the profile and group screens after a major platform release.
When to use it.
Use BuddyBoss Platform if you are already invested in it and want Reign's design rather than the BuddyBoss theme. For a new build the calculation is different: BuddyNext is ours, installs free and does not carry a platform subscription.
