What Reign GeoDirectory actually is.
The Reign theme plus the GeoDirectory add-on, $129 against $138 separately. Listing pages, map search and business profiles inherit your community design instead of GeoDirectory's default templates. GeoDirectory itself has a free core with paid add-ons from its own authors.
Who it is for.
For directory sites where listings sit alongside a community, which is most local directories worth building. GeoDirectory is mature and strong on maps and location search specifically. If your directory is member-submitted and community-led rather than map-first, Listora is ours, installs free, and may fit better.
Installing it.
Install the theme, then the add-on, then the plugin the add-on is for, in that order. The add-on does nothing on its own; it is a styling layer that needs both sides present. Run the demo installer if you want the site to arrive looking like the demo rather than an empty WordPress. GeoDirectory core is free; map providers and some features need their paid add-ons and an API key for the maps. Budget an afternoon for the setup and another for the content.
What the licence covers.
The licence covers updates and support for its term, and you keep the software if you let it lapse; what stops is updates and support, which on a site taking money is not something to let slide. At $129 it covers the Reign theme and the GeoDirectory add-on, against $138 separately. GeoDirectory has a free core with paid add-ons from its authors, and maps need an API key from your map provider. Renewals are the usual annual cycle. Everything third-party named here is licensed separately by its own authors, which is worth budgeting for before you start rather than discovering at setup.

- No. GeoDirectory is a separate plugin with a free core and paid add-ons from its own authors. This kit is the theme plus our styling layer, which makes the directory match the rest of your site.
- GeoDirectory or Listora?
- GeoDirectory for map-heavy location search with a mature feature set. Listora is ours, installs free, and suits member-submitted directories with categories and search. If maps are the product, GeoDirectory; if community listings are, Listora.
- Does the licence cover more than one site?
- Check the tier you are buying at checkout, since licences are sold per number of sites and the right tier depends on how many installs you run. Agencies building for clients should look at the higher tiers rather than buying a single-site licence repeatedly.
