What JobMate Theme actually is.
The Reign theme plus the WP Job Manager add-on, at $129 against $138 bought separately. The add-on restyles job listings, search filters, employer profiles and application forms so the board looks like part of your community rather than a plugin dropped into a page. WP Job Manager itself is free and comes from its own authors.
Who it is for.
For anyone building a job board on WordPress who wants it to look designed rather than default, particularly when the board sits alongside a community. If the job board is the entire site and there is no community around it, a dedicated job theme may suit you better. Reign earns its place when the board is one part of something larger.
Installing it.
Install the theme, then the add-on, then the plugin the add-on is for, in that order. The add-on does nothing on its own; it is a styling layer that needs both sides present. Run the demo installer if you want the site to arrive looking like the demo rather than an empty WordPress. You will also want WP Job Manager itself, which is free from the plugin directory, plus whichever of its paid add-ons you need for applications or resumes. Budget an afternoon for the setup and another for the content.
What the licence covers.
The licence covers updates and support for its term, and you keep the software if you let it lapse; what stops is updates and support, which on a site taking money is not something to let slide. At $129 it covers the Reign theme and the WP Job Manager add-on, against $138 bought separately. WP Job Manager itself is free from the plugin directory, and its application and resume add-ons are paid extras from its authors. Renewals are the usual annual cycle. Everything third-party named here is licensed separately by its own authors, which is worth budgeting for before you start rather than discovering at setup.

- No. WP Job Manager is a free plugin from its own authors and you install it from the WordPress directory. This kit is the Reign theme plus our styling add-on for it, which is what makes the board match your site.
- What about our own job plugin?
- WP Career Board is ours, installs free, and covers listings, search, applications and an employer dashboard. If you have not already committed to WP Job Manager it is worth looking at first, because it is free and shares a member record with the rest of our family.
- Does the licence cover more than one site?
- Check the tier you are buying at checkout, since licences are sold per number of sites and the right tier depends on how many installs you run. Agencies building for clients should look at the higher tiers rather than buying a single-site licence repeatedly.
