Reign Sensei Addon

Running Sensei LMS alongside a BuddyPress community on a generic theme means two separate experiences that don't reinforce each other. Reign Sensei Addon styles all Sensei pages to match your Reign theme, integrates course reviews into member profiles, adds Sensei-specific widgets, and lets individual creators and educational institutions run both social and learning features from one polished interface.

If you have not committed to Sensei yet

Learnomy does this job, and it installs free.

This add-on exists to style Sensei, which you buy from its own vendor. If you are starting fresh, Learnomy covers the same ground at no cost and needs no add-on, because Reign styles it already. Pro is $149 a year if you later want the paid features.

What Reign Sensei Addon actually is.

A $39 styling layer for Sensei LMS on Reign. Course pages, lessons and student profiles inherit the theme rather than sitting in Sensei's defaults, which matters most when the LMS runs alongside a community and the two should feel like one product.

Who it is for.

For sites running Sensei, which tends to be people already in the WooCommerce ecosystem since it comes from the same authors. If you have not committed to an LMS, Learnomy is ours and installs free, and shares a user record with the community.

Installing it.

Install the Reign theme first, then Sensei LMS, then this add-on. It is a styling layer and does nothing without both sides present, which is the most common support question. Activate, clear any page cache, and check the course and lesson pages on a phone as well as desktop. There is nothing to configure: the add-on either finds the plugin and styles it, or it does not.

What the licence covers.

The licence covers updates and support for its term, and you keep the software if you let it lapse; what stops is updates and support, which on a site taking money is not something to let slide. At $39 this is the add-on alone and assumes you own the theme. Sensei LMS is a separate licence from its own authors. There is no bundled kit for Sensei, so if you need three or more add-ons look at the Reign Addons Bundle. Renewals are the usual annual cycle. Everything third-party named here is licensed separately by its own authors, which is worth budgeting for before you start rather than discovering at setup.

Questions before buying.

Why Sensei over the others?
Usually because you are already in the WooCommerce world and want an LMS from the same authors, which makes selling courses through WooCommerce straightforward. On features alone the other LMS options are generally ahead.
Is there a Sensei kit?
Not as a bundled kit. Buy the theme and this add-on separately, or look at the Reign Addons Bundle if you need three or more add-ons, which is where that becomes the cheaper route.
Does the licence cover more than one site?
Check the tier you are buying at checkout, since licences are sold per number of sites and the right tier depends on how many installs you run. Agencies building for clients should look at the higher tiers rather than buying a single-site licence repeatedly.

What customers say on Trustpilot

WBComDesigns is amazing!

WBComDesigns is amazing. The WP plugins and themes are of top notch quality with lots of features and updated very frequently. Supports are very responsive and helpful. I use Reign with TutorLMS, and the experience is surprisingly smooth. The recently launched BuddyNext Pro and MediaShield Pro are…
