Voting

Voting lets members mark a post or reply as useful so the best contributions rise and weak ones sink.

Also called: upvotes, likes

Votes are cheap moderation by the crowd. They also feed reputation, since a member whose answers keep getting votes has earned trust.

Look for one vote per member, protection against vote swapping and a sort that favors votes without hiding new replies.
