Cohorts

A cohort is a group of learners who start and move through a course together on a shared schedule.

Also called: class groups, batch learning

Cohorts add accountability and conversation. People who learn alongside others finish more often.

Look for start dates, a shared discussion area and the ability to run several cohorts of one course at once.
